The third site will be
of interest to both people wanting photographs for thier website or for
use in commercial applications, and to photographers who want to sell
thier work. Shutterstock
are one of a number of sites that allow you to
upload your portfolio, and then offer it as royalty free stock for web
designers etc. For each image downloaded the photographer gets a small
fee which is dependant on the use the image will be put to. As a
photographer I can recommend it as a way to sell your work (to fund
those extra goodies every photographer needs) and for web
designers or commercial users the range of images available
is enormous.
If I've convinced you to join Shutterstock
either as a
contributor or as a subscriber, please enter the site via my links
below as I receive a small commission for new members.

I run three sites with my photographs on. The
first site contains photographs of places and events I have been to. It
uses the facilities provided by Photobox, who
I have found produce excellent prints with very quick turn round times.
On this site you can order 5" x 7" prints, and for some selected
photographs A2, A3 or A4 prints are possible.
The fourth site is dedicated solely to
photographs of events and trips with Suffolk Advanced
Motorcyclists. The
photographs on this site have been taken by myself and other group
members.

The second site contains
some of my best photographs in an online gallery. From there
the
photographs can be ordered as canvas prints which are stretched and
mounted on
box frames, or they can even be painted for you by a professional
artist.

Over the years I have owned various cameras,
starting as a child with an old Kodak bakelite "point-and-shoot". I
progressed on to various models of SLR from Pentax, Olympus and Canon,
to my last
35mm camera being a Canon EOS 500N. I have now moved to the great world
of digital photography, using a Olympus SP-550UZ.
While not providing the full flexibility of a DSLR camera, it produces
excellent pictures and its size means I take it with me when the old
35mm would have been left at home.
